INTRODUCING: ARCHIVE THERMO E-mail
Written by Archivist
Tuesday, 21 August 2007

We are introducing new single display font, Archive Thermo. This stylish Art Deco typeface was originally published in a 1930s American Typefounders (ATF) catalogue.
Clean cut, sans serif with geometric proportions preserves elegance of a human touch. Some of the characters from upper case and lower case have different forms or widths which can be combined freely.

@mondob:

If you're looking for 'polish and finish,' try another foundry. Archive derives its typefaces from old media precisely for the purpose of being a bit rough around the edges...i.e. slightly imperfect metrics, etc. If it bothers you that much, buy FontLab and make the 'necessary' adjustments yourself. Geez.

I'm bothered by the inconsistent baseline, the jumping up and down of certain letters, like the cap I and cap T. Why can't you issue a face with more polish and finish?

powerful & elegant at the same time.
